I think we’d all like to say that we would want a Mercedes if given a choice. And we do have the choice–if we have the money to buy it.
For most small businesses, money is an issue. We have a choice of where we want to spend our dollars.
The same thing can be said about a web sites. If you have the money and a web site is going to be central to your marketing plan, then you should go for the Mercedes web site. If you only have a couple hundred dollars to work with, then you are going to end up with a Kia web site.
Most of the people we work with can only afford a Honda web site. Honda’s don’t drive the fastest or won’t impress the friends like a Mercedes. But they run well and last a long time. And our Honda web sites last a long time.
Some of our sites are still in action, even after being online more than eight years. Their designs were simple but they worked well back then and they are still working well today.
If you are looking for a Mercedes web site, we’re probably not the company for you. You could pay $20,000 to $50,000 for a highly designed web site. And we’re not the company for a Kia web site. Because of our experience and skilled designers, we can’t afford to build sites for $299 like you would find on Craig’s List.
